MINET is the computer symposium held by The Mother's International School each year. It will be held on Thursday, the 11th of August. Hard copies of the details have been mailed to schools all over Delhi, along with the forms. In case you do not receive the form, you may request one on the event page on Facebook. The events are: 1. Programming Participation: 1 team of 2 students Eligibility: Class IX to XII Software: Turbo C++ -Set of high-end logical problems will be given, to be solved in C++
2. Digital Imaging Participation: 1 student Eligibility: Open Software: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Fireworks -The topic and base images will be provided to the participant on the spot.
3. Quiz Participation: 1 team of 2 students Eligibility: Open -Based on different fields of computers and IT -Written prelims -6 teams will qualify for the finals
4. Web Designing Participation: 1 team of 2 members Software: Macromedia Studio, Adobe Photoshop -Participants will design a website using materials provided. -The topic will be announced on the spot.
5. Gaming Participation: 1 student Eligibility: Open -Rules will be announced on the spot. -Be prepared to play any type of game. -Speakers will not be provided, please bring your own headphones.
6. Movie Making Participation: 1 team of 2 students Eligibility: Class VI to VIII Software: Windows Movie Maker -Topic will be given on the spot. -Necessary graphics and information will be provided.
P.S. Access to internet will not be provided in any of the events. Also, no external drives will be permitted.

@dhananjay- I've sent you the invite, but since you've confirmed, you may as well register on the spot, for which the process of invite-sending seems redundant. @Manas- I didn't draft the details. I'm guessing it's Macromedia, since we're probably using an older version.
Just for everyone's information. Our computer lab is bestowed with quad core i3 processors and windows 7. (unlike force fest which had computers running on win 95) The gamers are in for a treat.
